Welcome to the M&M. Built in 1844, our building has a rich history that is interwoven into the fabric of our beautiful island city. A survivor of The 1900 Storm and all that followed. The M&M exemplifies the fierce spirit of community and determination of Galveston's residents – both past and present.

The M&M with its dark, rich wood and warm atmosphere is welcoming to all. A place for regulars and visitors alike to gather for food, drink and smiling faces. If it’s simply a stout drink at the bar or on the patio, or a generous entrée with full wine service, The M&M is your kind of place.

With an offering of large portions that represent a cross section of fine foods from steaks and chops to fresh fish to our signature tavern sandwiches and salads, we are a place to gather again and again. A place where we endeavor to eliminate the word, “no” from our vocabulary. Whether it’s a business meeting to close the deal, or simply an evening out to leave the day behind, our hope is that you’ll say, ”It’s just so easy to come here”.
